   what can one do if he has no good academic record? are IIMs meant for people who have been graduated from prestigious institutions alone??

   What about Engineering exams like IIT-JEE, GATE or Engineering Services Exams They are different? And Subjects are more and much tougher than just English, Maths or Reasoning? One needs to have more than English or Maths?

   please do your math b4 u post a comment.2,50,000 roughly appear for CAT and IIMs have around 1250 seats, this means the ratio is 1:200, not 1 in 12000…r u nuts or what?

   ok.. chill mate …… thanks for correcting me ….someone told that to me …. i guess the numbers would probably be more like 1 every 300-400 for general people who are outside the quota…… are you giving your cat by any chance….. good luck to you …. i know it is a very diff one to crack
