Technically , the numerical equivalency for each of these terms is just “one or more�. Typically , “many� is used to convey a sizeable proportion either where a) the exact proportion is unknown or b) where it is known to be less than a half yet still appreciable.

When the store sells a total of y towels, it makes 120 dollars. xy=120 We’re told that if the price of each towel increase by $1, then 10 fewer towels could be bought for 120 dollars

If the gardener is to select each of the bushes at random, one at a time, and plant them in a row, what is the probability that the 2 rosebushes in the middle of the row will be the red rosebushes? A) 1/12 B) 1/6 C) 1/5 D) 1/3 E) 1/2 I’ve never posted on a GMAT forum before, but I have taught the GMAT for 10 years…
